How To Change WiFi Password and secure your internet connection?

WiFi Password points out to protection since poorly secured WiFi networks can put your personal information at risk. Using a WiFi Password and change it regularly is the major keys to protect your network. Changing it keeps others away from accessing your data and stealing your bandwidth! To change your Wi-Fi password, all you need to do is to open your router’s admin page using your login credentials and change the password under the wireless settings menu.

Change WiFi Password on TP-Link Routers

  1. Login to your admin panel using 192.168.0.1 IP address or whatever your Router’s IP is.
  2. Enter your login credentials.
  3. Once logged in, go to “Advanced” option and then choose “Wireless”.
  4. Choose Wireless Security and set the mode to (WPA/WPA2–PSK).
  5. Enter your new password and save changes.

Change The Password on Other Routers

  1. Login to your admin panel using 192.168.0.1 IP address or whatever your Router’s IP is.
  2. Enter your login credentials.
  3. In Setup/Basic page, click on Wireless Security under the Wireless option.
  4. Set the Security Mode to WPA/WPA2–PSK.
  5. Enter your new password and save changes.

Once password changed, the devices connected to that network will be disconnected. So you’ll need to reconnect them using the new password.
